Our story
FEI was founded in 2011 to address a growing challenge in manufacturing: as products became more electronically complex, production systems struggled to keep pace. In 2013, FEI invented MODIS — a breakthrough platform that laid the foundation for what is now FargoFlo, our integrated manufacturing execution and control system. MODIS marked a shift from isolated test stations and fragmented data systems toward unified, software-driven production intelligence. Over time, our capabilities expanded beyond testing into complete factory-floor control — integrating programming stations, universal test platforms, traceability systems, reporting infrastructure, simulators, and engineered workflow solutions. Today, FEI supports global OEM manufacturers across multiple markets, delivering integrated systems that reduce inefficiencies, eliminate rework, protect margins, and bring clarity to complex production environments.
